Vision Season
A word from God changes everythingPREPARE | VISION 2026: Every year at Portrait, we unite around a word from God. This year we hear the Lord saying, “Prepare, I’m about to open new doors.”
We’ve seen God move in powerful ways this past year — 50 people going all in through baptism, countless hearts growing in their love for Jesus, and over $60,000 given to outreach. But this is just the beginning.
We’re standing on the edge of something greater, a new season where God is opening doors wider than we ever imagined. The question is: will we be ready to step over the threshold?
As we look to what God is leading us into, we’re taking a faith-filled step together through a one-time offering that goes above and beyond our regular giving. It’s our way of preparing the way for what God wants to do next.
God’s the visionary and He invites us to play a part in His bigger story. A story that echoes through eternity. A story that creates space for people to Look Again. A story that ends with Jesus getting all the glory!
On Sunday, December 7th, we’ll bring a one-time offering to accelerate the vision. Be in prayer and ask God how He wants you to participate.
Let’s PREPARE together to serve God’s purpose in our generation.
A voice of one calling in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all people will see God’s salvation. (Luke 3:4-6)

The Church I See...

It’s the fall of 2028 …
… Portrait is celebrating our fourth annibirthry. Last year, we celebrated by closing on land for our future facility; this year, we celebrate a milestone of more than 300 people going all-in with Jesus through baptism since our launch. The enthusiasm and passion to provide an opportunity for people to Look Again, and see Jesus clearly is contagious. Our worship is alive, authentic, and transformative. Sunday conversations captivate hearts and minds, spilling into car rides home and lingering over dinner conversations long after the service ends. Sunday creates hunger for daily encounters. From kids to youth to adults, everyone is growing in their personal relationship with Jesus.
As our third Sunday service let’s out, the sun doesn’t set on God’s power and presence moving through us. Portrait people are Bible people…. We daily spend time with the Lord. More than 450 people will gather in homes to continue the conversation or be further equipped through various huddles this week. Many are winning their circle of influence for Christ. Celina ISD and city officials tell our story as part of their own. Beyond the Walls is not an initiative, it’s a movement. Countless families have been blessed through our hands, and every elementary school has our mark on their playgrounds. Portrait people are woven into every corner of life: sitting on the school board, waiting tables, cheering in the bleachers, walking the halls of the schools – Portrait red bleeds into Celina orange. Every week we’re saying, “I can’t believe we get to do this.”
This is Portrait! This is us! How does it start – PREPARE 2026
Following His Lead,
Pastor David
