As a church we want to be known more by what we are FOR than what we are against. Let it be known Portrait is FOR Celina ISD! We are grateful to call Martin Elementary our church home on Sundays and are excited to give back. We have multiple serve opportunities onsite such painting, staining, and landscaping. We want to be a good neighbor to another school in Celina to help install a gaga ball pit. If you are a handy person, we need your skills to build something that will be used by kids at this school for years to come. This activity is offsite for servant leaders ages 14+.

The blood of Jesus saved us all and now we need yours to save lives. Did you know that each pint of blood donated saves three lives? We want to save as many lives as we can in Celina. Sign up to give blood. If you can’t give blood, we still need a group of volunteers to help coordinate the blood drive. Sign up and invite your friends to join you. The Carter BloodCare bus will be at Martin Elementary for donations on 3/30. Don’t miss the bus!

The church is at its best when it’s caring for those in need so, lend a hand to help Celina residents in need. We are partnering with Helping Hands of Celina to collect and sort donations during our Beyond the Wall Sunday.

This onsite opportunity is perfect for families looking to serve together. We have multiple activities for Servant Leaders ages 8+ including stuffing backpacks for Celina students, writing letters of encouragement to cancer survivors, and craft projects for Embrace to support adoption of children in the Celina area. Sign up with your families to serve. 

Summer is not downtime, it’s preparation time for next school year. There are several bulletin boards around Martin Elementary that need to be updated in preparation for the new school year. We are looking for crafty servant leaders ages 16+ to help us update the bulletin boards. 

Be the light of Jesus away from church at a homeless shelter where we will serve meals and provide other assistance to hundreds of residents in need. You will need to be a Servant Leader age 14+ that is a morning person with a heart to serve those in need in this offsite activity. 

Be the helping hands that serve a meal to those who are volunteering. We will prepare and serve breakfast to all of the Beyond the Walls volunteers and their families to make sure they are ready to serve. This serve opportunity is onsite for volunteers ages 15+.

Keep Celina beautiful. We have adopted a section of a street to clean up. This offsite activity is perfect for Servant Leaders ages 14+.
