As a church we want to be known more by what we are FOR than what we are against. Let it be known Portrait is FOR Celina ISD! We are grateful to call Martin Elementary our church home on Sundays and are excited to give back. We have multiple serve opportunities on-site such painting, staining, and landscaping. We need a team of servant leaders to place door hangers in nearby neighborhoods and invite residents to visit us at Portrait Church. Sign up by yourself, with a group, or with your family. Invitation proceeds transformation! Take the woman at the well. She has an encounter with Jesus and then immediately invites her city to ‘come & see’, and many start a relationship with Jesus through her invitation (John 4:29-42).

The blood of Jesus saved us all and now we need yours to save lives. Did you know that each pint of blood donated saves three lives? We want to save as many lives as we can in Celina. Sign up to give blood. If you can’t give blood, we still need a group of volunteers to help coordinate the blood drive. Sign up and invite your friends to join you. The Carter BloodCare bus will be at Martin Elementary for donations on 3/30. Don’t miss the bus!

The church is at its best when it’s caring for those in need so, lend a hand to help Celina residents in need. We are partnering with Helping Hands of Celina to collect and sort donations during our Beyond the Wall Sunday.

Studies clearly show that “serving together as a family” is vitally important in a child’s faith journey. Parents, walk alongside your children with several impactful family-friendly projects, including assembling Easter boxes for our foster care friends at Embrace, creating teacher appreciation cards for our Martin Elementary Teachers, and keeping our campus clean and safe for our students.

Calling all pitmasters! We need your help preparing for our Beyond the Walls lunch celebration to conclude our event. We will need help setting up tables and chairs, prepping food, grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, and handling cleanup. Let’s finish off by coming together as a community!
